About Muñeca Fea

Hi! My name is Muñeca Fea, and I am an astrologer based in Oakland, CA.

I began my study of astrology about 20 years ago, after receiving my first reading from the legendary astro-mensch Barry Perlman. Barry delivered insights into my life that felt nothing short of astonishing in their accuracy. I walked into that session wanting to learn more about myself, and walked out with bird’s-eye view of my life from the cosmos. Over the years that followed I was stunned to see the predictions from that session unfold powerfully and on schedule.

Astrology had always been part of my life. Walter Mercado’s campy, intoxicating sun-sign horoscopes captivated me from an early age. As I grew up, I devoured morsels of astro-knowledge wherever I could find them—in pop astrology books from the library, magazine horoscope columns, and the mishmash of computer-generated delineations offered on astro.com. But it wasn’t until I sought one-on-one counsel that I came to understand astrology’s full potential as a tool of self-awareness and personal empowerment.

The natal chart offers us more than a description of our personality traits and tendencies—it is a powerful vehicle for helping us to identify the cycles that give shape to our lives. Equipped with this knowledge, we can begin to loosen ourselves from the grip of the habits and patterns that bedevil us and move towards the future with a greater sense of direction and possibility.

My practice focuses on birth chart readings, using a combination of modern and ancient Hellenistic techniques. I use transits, annual profections, and secondary progressions to highlight upcoming windows of opportunity, as well as to pinpoint any potentially rocky stretches that might be looming on the horizon.

My consultations are interactive and collaborative. I take the time to listen to and answer your questions, and give you space to steer the conversation towards the topics that feel most urgent to you. My style is warm, open, and encouraging. You will leave the session with a clear understanding of the natal promise of your birth chart, so that you can make the most of your unique gifts and be more awake to the life you are living.
